(Insert organisation name) supports the end violence against children now and be part of changing the world forever campaign.
More than one billion children globally have experienced violence in the last year and the Advocate for Children and Young People is asking all adults to sign a pledge to end violence against children now and be part of changing the world forever.
We have taken the pledge to show our support for this campaign and we encourage you to do the same.
The Advocate for Children and Young People has heard feedback from more than 15,000 children and young people across NSW, in consultations children and young people frequently spoke about violence being an issue for them.
In consultations with children and young people about violence, children and young people asked the Advocate to develop a campaign to raise awareness about violence, they requested that the campaign used true to life examples of the types of violence children experience and highlight that violence can happen anywhere.
This led to the development of the campaign video, the resource rich website and pledge.
It’s easy to take the pledge and lend your voice to those who do not have a voice, simply visit www.nowandforever.nsw.gov.au to take the pledge and watch the campaign video.
